Silver Curatec IV Now Powered by X-Static®

São Paulo Brazil, May 28, 2010: The 17th Annual HOSPITALAR Health Fair was the launch site for LM Farma’s latest line of dressings to treat wounds which are difficult to heal. Based on the Silver Line and composed of the products Curatec Silver Coat and Silver Curatec IV with X-Static, The Silver Fiber®. Both have the benefits of silver to promote faster healing, reduce odor, reduce anti-bacterial load and are easy to apply
The Curatec line contains about 30 different dressings for wounds difficult to heal. The introduction of X-Static® to their product line has been met with unanimous approval among doctors and nurses who already know and use the Curatec bandage line.
LM Farma plans to disseminate the benefits of specific treatments for wounds with high complexity as in the cases of trauma caused by accidents, venous ulcers, pressure or diabetes, burns and surgical wounds. One of the main results that the Curatec line has brought to patients is reduction in the number of amputations. Over the next few months, the company will launch the first Brazilian center devoted to the study of new technologies and training of professionals who work with highly complex wounds. Curatec IV with X-Static will be an integral part of this study.
LM Farma has been in business since 1988 and its plant occupies an area of 5000 m2 in Sao Jose dos Campos-SP. It is the only national company in the field of special dressings, and in the four years it’s operated in this area, they have earned the rank of second largest sector in Brazil.
