Presenting the very first Lazer Helmet designed specifically for mountain biking: Nirvana!
Riding speed on MTB can sometimes be much slower than it is on the road. So we designed Nirvana's vents to be much more open than what you usually find in a road specific helmet. The result is that Nirvana pulls a massive amount of air into the helmet and over your head to keep you cool and comfortable on those long steep climbs up the mountainside.
Nirvana uses X-Static pad material in the interior of the helmet. X-STATICŪ padding is anti-microbial, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi in the padding. It also serves to either retain or transfer heat depending upon the outside conditions. X-STATICŪ keeps your head cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold.
Nirvana also has a specific Rigidity Brace System (RBS) designed specifically for this model. The RBS is a reinforcement structure molded into the helmet foam to help to improve impact resistance. It also provides protection against additional lower-speed impacts following an initial blow.
Rollsys Nirvana also incorporates our patented RollsysŪ fit system which means it's comfortable to wear as well as being very easy to adjust and fit correctly before each ride. Because RollsysŪ is so easy to adjust with just one finger of one hand it is possible to make micro-adjustments in the fit of Nirvana while you ride. Want additional air flow through the front of the helmet while you climb? Just roll a finger across the RollsysŪ dial at the top of the helmet. Want to tighten the system up for the decent? Again, one finger does the job quickly and easily. No more two handed helmet adjustment!
Nirvana sits a bit deeper down the back of the head to provide additional protection to the lower head and neck area. An integrated, easily removable visor helps keep the backsun out of your eyes so you won't be distracted on the trail.
With 21 massive vents, CE/CPSC/AS Certification (meaning it meets or exceeds all international safety standards) Nirvana is available in two shell sizes (XXS/M, L/XL) and has a weight of only 260 grams (XXS/M size).
